Iron foundry: Our casting materials
We produce high-quality cast products in the cast iron materials spheroidal graphite cast iron (DIN EN 1563) and lamellar graphite cast iron (DIN EN 1561).
The choice of casting material allows the strength properties of the components to be represented over a wide range.
The different requirements of our customers constantly demand new casting solutions.
Our foundry technologists use simulation software to assist in the selection of iron casting materials, wall thicknesses and geometries in order to meet individual requirements.
In consultation with our customers, our iron foundry supplies cast iron alloys that meet the respective requirement profile.

As a system partner, we support our customers right from the design stage, look for optimum production processes in the foundry and ensure the best product results with subsequent machining of the parts.
The selection of casting materials is an important part of the work in an iron foundry.
Compared to other production methods, casting complex workpieces has the advantage that it involves relatively few process steps and reduces the material consumption that occurs during milling, for example.
Finally, the assembly of the parts into ready-to-install components rounds off our range of services.
