Core-intensive engine parts in particular place high demands on the molding shop and casting post-treatment to ensure clean parts despite complex interiors.

Examples of individual articles from motor technology

  • Flywheels: Thanks to our height-optimized moulding box, we can produce flywheels very efficiently.
    We can also cast several washers on top of each other using separating cores.
  • Cylinder head: The combustion chamber is sealed by the cylinder head.
    Even the smallest errors can lead to engine failure.
    In addition, the cylinder head places the highest demands on the geometry and therefore the precision of our production processes.

Customer requirements for motor technology

In motor technology, the focus is on the quality and reliability of components.
Due to the long product life cycles, this must already be defined and safeguarded during product development.
Together with our customers, we start identifying technical risks in the implementation of cast parts as early as the concept phase and work with the customer to develop corrective measures.

Proven methods such as the Ishikawa diagram and FMEA are used here.
After component approval, the defined quality criteria are statistically measured in series production.
For our customers, we offer a range of services from pure castings to machined, primed castings with assembly in order to optimize the joint supply chain.

Close coordination with our customers means that quality requirements can be implemented at optimum cost.
For example, by implementing low tolerances on the surfaces, we can reduce machining allowances to a minimum, which saves material in the foundry and cycle time and tool wear in machining.

Thanks to just-in-time delivery and our short lead times, we enable our customers to keep stocks low and react quickly to fluctuations in demand.
